It is with great pleasure that South Florida JAZZ will feature one of the greatest and most acclaimed collaborations in the history of jazz, the legendary pianist and composer Chick Corea and vibraphonist extraordinaire, Gary Burton. These elite performers will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of their monumental premiere duo ECM recording, Crystal Silence, with a world tour that commences with the South Florida JAZZ 15^th Anniversary Concert.

While both players have explored an astonishing array of music and musical configurations over the past four decades, and accumulated numerous accolades – they have 17 Grammy Awards and more than 60 Grammy nominations between them - they approach every venture with love and zealous enthusiasm that invariably produces perfection. Expect no less at this performance.
